Cast a line

Not a bad day to cast a line and see what bites. One of my best friends sent me a note he has done the Friday early out and on his way to the Chesapeake Bay. Not to fish though.

I just cast my images and thoughts out into the vast expanse and see what hits.

It’s time to take advantage of this nice weather and go capture some of life that passes me by when I’m at this computer. I have a dog resting his head on my thigh as I type looking for attention and not liking my music selection.

The Snowball Stand is calling my name, but it was packed, so I’ll wait till tomorrow or later tonight. I was able to take a joy ride for an hour this afternoon and it was wonderful. Except for a few tailgaters. I think that car takes away stress more than the motorcycle did.

Rain is predicted for this evening so it will be time to cover it for another few days. But it looks as if I’ll be able to resume my sun worshiping activities next week.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Apparently, there are limits to lies.
  • Seeing color in the trees already.
  • I feel like standing in the rain tonight.
  • Time to call a few old friends.
  • A hot sunny day in the beginning of October was not to be wasted.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
