Feeling Alive

What’s a moment in your life that made you feel truly alive? – asks the daily prompt.

Wow, I guess I’m lucky. I had a lot of things pop to mind when I read that question. Falling in love, watching my children being born, 145 mph on a motorcycle, holding each of my grandchildren for the first time and every time I see them.

The hour ride with the top down yesterday I was feeling truly alive again. And again, this morning when I woke up, thankful as I am each day I open my eyes and I’m able to get vertical.

If you ever rang a bell at a hospital, you feel alive. Maybe not your best, but you’re on your way.

I like finding something each day to make me feel truly alive.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
