I keep trying to smooth out life, but rough edges seem to catch me often. I guess that is just the nature of life.

• Admiring others hard work is inspiring. But make sure to spend time working hard to inspire someone else.
• Living on other people’s timeframes can get old.
• I always prided myself on being technically proficient in my jobs. Not so much in retirement.

• It’s so sweet when your adult children make you part of their lives.
