Small Moments

What’s a small moment from your past that you still think about years later? – Asks the daily prompt.

I still remember and think about the moment we first saw the home we have now been in for over 40 years. I kind of knew from the moment we saw it that it was ours. Walking up the driveway to it felt so right.

That feeling of riding my motorcycle on a warm Sunday morning, the silence and solitude of the air and road.

The sounds and sights of my kids playing green ball after dinner. A game where they threw a green rubber ball at each other and laughing so hard the whole time.

Dinner with my better half before children at a restaurant called Reflections.

How careful I was driving my better half and newborn children home from the hospital.

Seeing my children holding my grandchildren for the first time.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
