Any Door

I was slack again last week and didn’t post due to recovering from Covid. This week my better half and I took a sanity break at the beach for 2 days. So I’m a day late for the Thursday Doors but better late than never.

The doors were all a bland white, so I accented their surroundings. Photo by Mike Hartley

At least these are new shots that I didn’t have to crawl through my archive for.

I know, below isn’t the typical door but I saw it and couldn’t pass it up for inclusion here. A big Zero on style points. That red clashes with the camouflage.

Found this at Bethany Beach in Delaware. Photo by Mike Hartley

Looking forward to your return Dan. Catch you next week. Thanks for leaving a placeholder.

Door Guards

A little late in the day for my ThursdayDoors entry, but better late than never.

Shot in Annapolis a while back on a warm summer day.

Yes that is a flip-flop door knocker. I like the Security Cat. Photo by Mike Hartley

These remaining 3 shots are from Chesapeake City in Maryland.

The next shot will show you what is guarding the entrance. Photo by Mike Hartley

I’ve got to take my better half here this spring. It’s been 8 years since my last visit.

Love this entrance. Photo by Mike Hartley

It’s a nice spot to take a day trip. And the charming little place below makes me think of a bed and breakfast also.

I’m going to have to see if this place is still there. Photo by Mike Hartley

Thursday Doors is a weekly challenge that I’m trying to participate in. Share your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).

Peace and Love are Welcome here

Hopefully I’ll get back in the swing of adding to the fun of Thursday Doors again.

Peace out. Or is that Peace In? Photo by Mike Hartley

These doors are from New Market Maryland. There are a few more I’ll get on my next trip there.

For those of you who are sight impaired like me. A closer shot below.

And thanks again to the creator of this #ThursdayDoors challenge and link to Dan’s site.
