I think Mother Nature uses spring to get our attention. Yeah the fall is colorful, but in a way that signals the end of the warm season of growth. Spring colors are endless and in your face, where the fall is mostly your soft pastels and signal quiet times. I have no particular knowledge of flowers or gardening. I know my Mom did and had some great looking gardens. So I did gain an appreciation for the beauty they hold. Fortunately for this guy, my wife has a green thumb and keeps the outside of the home in color this time of year so all my lazy behind has to do is walk outside some days to capture a little color.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
