Thursdays Mission

Had the pleasure of treating my daughter to lunch today and we decided to try Mission BBQ in Ellicott City. I was very good and I’m sure to return. Now don’t get me wrong. I’ve supported the Canopy for decades. Their fries are certainly better from first observation today. But the quality of service and great food at M-BBQ is going to be tough on the established local venues. This one might even impact Bare Bones and others along Rt 40.

But the real joy was sharing time with my daughter. I’m so proud of her and its good to see her relax. Sitting in there was great eating and talking. I’m seeing confidence and thoughtfulness. I’m seeing hopes and dreams. I’m seeing hard work and dedication. I’m seeing keen observation and common sense. Oh it’s so special to watch your great kids grow into great adults. We also had a bonus of some ice cream from Soft Stuff which was a nice desert.

Looking forward to some day trips with her this summer.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
