The game of golf is calling my name again. What a sport. In preparation of going fossil hunting with my irons this coming week I went to the range at Willow Springs early this morning. Those practice mats are indestructible. Actually been pleased only being out 2 times to the range. My hand eye coordination isn’t gone yet and I have a chance of staying on the course. While it may be a slim one I’ll give it the old college try this week.

I do like the game of golf. But there is the rub. You got to play and practice this game to get good and that cost money. And more importantly time. There is a lot of that needed for a round. Especially when you take as many strokes as I do.

They should have this guy just circle greens on his tractor. I think I’d do better with the moving target. I don’t know how they expect me to see that little hole so far away. Now a tractor, that’s something I can take aim at.

All I need is practice. And if I’m lucky the guy at the Pro Shop can sell me a game.
