Happy Hump Day

I don’t know who pushed the overdrive button, but please take your finger off it. For the last few days just about everyone close to me has been so busy. My job has had the 3 busiest days in a row for some time and I’m hoping they don’t make it 4 in a row. It’s amazing we even take the time to stay in touch and share a bit through emails or text or a quick phone call. What else is special is when you hear the relief in family and friends voices when you do talk. And that has been from both sides.

Also the commute has been utterly crazy. Seen many accidents and so many flashing light bars from emergency and police that it feels they moved the disco outside. And the holiday season is at our doorstep with the added pressure of trying to do more for people.

Getting in the proper flow.

And then I quickly realized that is sweating the small stuff. I’m taking a chill pill and relaxing my mind. I’ve found I get more done with more quality and clarity when I’m not all keyed up. I’ve realized the commute does disastrous things to my attitude. I’m still stunned each time it happens when someone puts lives at risk for a car length. And I enjoy driving so much, but when it’s at the time and roads of my choosing.

So my gears are in motion on how I can correct this time drain and frustrating ride. But also my mind is now back in low cruise speed. For the end of the work week nears and I’ll have time to shoot a bit and take the roads I like and get my proper FLOW ON.

Random Thoughts

It’s not the photo in the frame on the wall or in your wallet or purse that makes it special. It’s the thoughts and emotions it brings.

What is better than a GAME 7 ?

I feel like I’m part bat. The night is very active for me.

A child’s voice is so soothing. Even when they are full-grown adults.

Each time someone ask me if I remember something, I’m so glad that I can.

I’m as giddy as a child that my Son is bringing his dog for a visit. I love pets.

OK the first few days of November look tolerable, but be prepared for gripes about the cold to appear randomly.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
