We all hear the term “go for the green.” Most think something other than veggies when hearing that. So this coming year I’m making a commitment to the green. I had some spinach and pea’s the other day. I’ve got to incorporate more of that food in my diet. But I refuse to eat brussel sprouts. My wife loves these little things. I can’t stand them. But they came with Thanksgiving dinner so some were happy.
With the trees baron of green leaves, the grass going to that off brown, I thought we could use a little green today. So I’m doing my part.
So my window to shop is the next two weeks. Guess I better get on the stick and get a plan. I don’t go out this time of year without a plan. Usually its complete with each store and location and gift, at the least busy time of the day which is close to opening time. Always give the staff a few minutes to breath and start things up but early as you can. It allows for the best help and service and therefore the least stress. Plus you don’t have to fight for parking and your out before the lunch rush. Not the best way to use vacation time but it does accomplish an important task with little stress.

Tonight I’m going to look though history. Yep I’ll be sorting more family slides from the 50’s and 60’s.
I’m going to see how many personal gifts I can make next year.
Got to spend a few wonderful minutes chatting with my father and mother inlaw today. Really, that two hours flew by. Oh maybe I misspoke there, by chatting I mean sitting across the kitchen table trading stories and fixing the worlds ills. I do a lot of chatting at the job. But I find that type fairly impersonal, being its text in a screen.
This looks like a WIDE OPEN College basketball season from what I’ve seen so far. In other words its anybody’s guess who will win it all so if you have a team in the dance you have a chance.
