It can’t be that time again

It can’t be that time again. That dreaded 4 letter word. – WORK – Well, it’s going to be a short week so that gives me one coping device. And things have been running fairly smoothing but no change moratorium is being lifted so only time will tell if its going to be a good December or not at the job that pays the bills. Usually a month of contrast with a busy first 2-3 weeks and then the holiday hits and its smooth sailing except for the fact that were staffed pretty thin.

Really, the next time I wake I have to go to work. Tell me it ain’t so.

But we have a great day ahead, a little cooler than I’d like but nice. I actually had the top down yesterday while commuting to the in-laws home. And with the sun and temps in the mid to upper 50’s I think that top is going to be down a bit more on Monday and Tuesday. Can’t wait for the ACC/Big10 challenge starting this week in College Basketball.

Don’t leave us. We love you more than the job.

Today as the holiday weekend comes to a close, I remind myself to be thankful for so much.  For a loving family, for friends who are as close as family and thought of as such. For the health of those around me. For the chance to improve the world or make someone laugh. For the time an opportunity to share thoughts, observations and images here.

For challenging gainful employment, for incentive to work harder on sharing with those in need. The trick is to do it and not be overwhelmed or pestered to death or guilt-ed to get you continue to give. Organizations like that turn me off. But most of all I’m thankful I’ve been given another day to share it with everyone.

Random Thoughts

My neighbors cleared their yards of leaves for the most part so I felt obliged to do some of mine today.

I love sports but even I think there is too much at times. Of course as long as there is advertising dollars it will continue to grow.

Good thing we have schedules or we would never know when we are full.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
