What will your life be like in three years? – More dreaming questions from the Daily Writing prompt.

Alive and healthy I hope. If my loved ones, friends, and I have our health everything else is cake.

I’ll be enjoying my elementary and preschool grandchildren, teaching them the arts and if the knees still work I’ll be outside playing with them all.

By my better half’s side and looking forward to a trip to the beach together. Still retired and pursuing all my interests of today and picking up a few more in that period.

We will still be in our home, I’ll probably still be cutting the grass and laying in the hammock afterward.

There is an excellent chance I will have modified my Miata a bit by then. Which means I’ll be enjoying driving even more.

To have that same thirst and energy to go out and get that next great shot, start that next carving, or begin the next drawing.

I hope to be struggling to find spots for all the artwork I haven’t given away to family, friends, and strangers yet that I’ve completed over the past 3 years.

Sitting back at family events listening to my children update me on their careers, parenting challenges, and all the funny stuff that happens. (just as I do today).

There are also some tough changes 3 years from now. One of my best friends will be moving further away. Not out of driving distance but it will be a trek. Another one of my best friends might also be moving in that timeframe.

If I keep up the work I started this year, my body should be in excellent shape and tone.
