The view of this day is optimistic. The weather is sunny and warming slowly, the time is available for adventure and while not feeling 100%, there is reserve strength to be used. I’ve got the camera batteries charged and I hope to get out and about and capture some of life.
I meant to post the section below last night but I passed out early.
Photography Journey Day 3 Recap
I was productive but not in the traditional sense.
I ordered a new camera. After a bit of research and talking to some technical people the choice was made. The two I’ve been using were purchased in 2007 and 2014. A Kodak Z812 IS and a Nikon D7100. I’m not going to divulge what I’m replacing the old Kodak with for a bit and first see if I can feel a difference in my photography.
Of course, I’m well aware equipment doesn’t make the photographer. I’ve made the choice based on developing some areas of shooting interest. Hopefully, they will be fully evident when I get to work.
I’m of the age where I thought to myself is this the last camera I’ll own? It might be given the length of time I seem to use them for. I hope it’s not, I hope I wear it out and have enough energy and desire in my late senior years to need another new one to keep plugging away at this craft.
My better half recognized how much I enjoyed it and encouraged me to move forward with it. Thanks for the support, my love.
