I’m not much into the luxurious lifestyle. The first requisite is money and that has never been in vast supply here. I do have an eye for beauty and sometimes those observations are luxurious. In the car world Cadillac is a luxury brand.
I drove an old Caddy once. It was my moms, who owned an old used one. She didn’t feel safe in a small car. This one below is not it.
In some ways I have a lot of luxuries. A full stomach, a roof over our heads, money to pay the bills most of our lives. And the greatest ones, time and health.
I guess I just got a luxury item. I got a firepit a few weeks ago. Not something I need. Not something that serves a purpose other than comfort on a cool evening. I worked hard all my life. I’ll make some allowances.
Luxury has its place in life. But greed doesn’t. And we have a lot of greed at work acquiring the very few things they don’t own already.
