Sykesville Maryland is a small town and one of my favorite local ones. It was my first time attending their July 4th celebration. Just a few images from yesterday morning.
The bright colors on display.
Old cars and floats.
Some small cars also.
The flag is everywhere
Hats off to our 250th birthday.
You really need some shade.
And the really big wheels.
Sharing the Joy.
John Deere, Massey Ferguson and others on Main Street instead of the fields.
Young and old loving the day.
I thought I’d seen pictures of previous years without the barriers on the street.
And yes, she did catch it after doing a spin while it was in the air.

I saw a lot of smiles yesterday.
We had a great lunch at The Local Motive and will be back to visit that establishment again.
