How is your window this day?

The color inside and the reflection of the outside made this a complete window for me. I love looking out windows. Be it the front windshield of my car or the kitchen window overlooking the woods behind my home or the screen door window to the front yard and porch that squirrels and deer seem to visit each day.

Every year near this time I remember a window I had at work for almost 2 decades that looked out over a preschool next door. And for Halloween they would parade all the young ones in costume around the parking lot circle which was right outside out big window. Seems like the whole company would be glued to any rear window in the building on the second floor for that event.

This shot above was from inside a great store in St Michaels Maryland called Captains Cottage Antiques and Shore Decor. We always stop and shop here.

A vintage window with multiple panes, framed in yellow, set against a brick wall. The glass is slightly dirty and shows reflections of trees outside, while creeping vines are visible along the edges.

I love windows. They have character. I saw this one walking between some older buildings. I guess it had storm shutters at one time by the hinges left behind.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
