The daily prompt asks – If you could go back in time and give your younger self advice, what would it be? I feel like I answered this question before. And when I search for the word advice on my blog, I see many questions answered on advice for the younger me and others.

So, I’ll pose this question another way today.

Thinking forward, what advice would you give today for a senior citizen, like me.

  • Do it today. You’re not going to feel any better tomorrow or the next day.
  • Appreciate your senses and memories, for they will slowly fade.
  • Know that each meeting with family and friends is more special than the last.
  • Pursue what you want to do. Act on your ideas and don’t stop.
  • Share your feelings now before the opportunity is lost.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
