With joy

The daily prompt asks me – Share a few recent shots from your camera roll, no context needed.

Oh, hell yeah. As an amateur photog being asked to share from your camera roll generates excitement. The trouble with that is I still use a camera and manually download that to my computer. That most recent roll is well over 300 shots. Sorry, after using a camera for over 5 decades I just can’t get used to using that phone to do that function.

The context of these shots will become clear over the next few days as I share more from that batch.

I really should get used to using that phone for more photography.

There are a lot of advantages to using a phone for photos, but also some disadvantages.

A quick skim through sites talking about shots taken with conventional cameras is under 10%. Guess I’m showing my age.

Maybe as I get older, I’ll get tired of carrying those heavy DSLRs.
