Have you ever had surgery? What for? – I can’t believe the daily writing prompt went there with today’s question.
I’ve had 6 surgeries. One knee, both shoulders, appendix and two cancers. At least that’s what I can recall off the top of my head on a way too early Sunday morning.
Surgeries give me chills. Just seeing that word this morning gave me an uneasy feeling.
Oh, just remembered another one from my teen years. Oral surgeon cut out my wisdom teeth. I think that one qualified on just the blood and pain alone. Funny thing, I still think I’m forgetting one or two.
I’m very thankful for the talented surgeons who have worked on me and the care I’ve received from nurses and staff.
