It’s that time of year to head east to the waters of the Atlantic. I can understand why so many have spots there and eventually move there. It draws me like a magnet and talks to me when I’m not there. The sounds of the waves hitting shore plays like this loop in the back of my head.
My heart longs to look out over that great body of water.
And what do you associate with the shores of Eastern Maryland? Crabs of course. Well today I had a crabcake from a well known Baltimore establishment (Pappas Restaurant and Sports Bar) in Parkville. My first time there and it was great food and service.
Took my Son who is a first time father there along with his son. So 3 generations at the table. Really good crabcakes and meal. The Santa Fee egg rolls were also very tasty.
I know, I took my camera in but when I saw that platter of food in her hand I picked up my fork and my mind went on autopilot till the plate was clean. I’ll get photos next visit because we will be back.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I find few things as enjoyable as making young children laugh and smile.
- Try a new perspective. It leads to understanding
- I’ve been blessed with two special children of my own. They keep getting more special all the time.
- The less time I can spend on the Beltway in Baltimore or Washington the better.
