Time for the weekly Thursday Doors challenge with our host Dan Antion. For those who love entrances, exits and the buildings and art that surrounds them this is the spot for you. The wonderful contributions from everywhere will delight. Share your own link in the comments on Dan’s weekly Door’s page.
I’m very late this week, just a few hours under deadline, after being MIA for a few. Hope to get back on track and be a regular contributor. And timelier.
A rather random pool of shots.
The next couple days should be good for photographing so I’ll get ahead of next week’s effort.
Shooting doors will allow me to combine a few projects I’m thinking about. We have a number of churches with some interesting architecture and while there I’ll see what I can find with doors.

Wonderful doors, Mike. I like the phone booth and the bit of snark on the sign. I love that house with the porch and the balcony. We stay open late to accommodate everyone.

Thanks for the laugh, Dan. And thanks for the effort in running these. I don’t know how you do it.

I took over two existing challenges, Norm and Cee did the heavy lifting to get them started. I enjoy both very much, so it’s a labor of love.

Random but rather nice

I love the sign on the phone booth. In Hong Kong, they’ve shifted the phone booths to hotspots. You can use free Wifi from the old booths. It’s nice when you’re traveling through. Lovely “homey” house!

These are beauties, but that sign on the phone booth is a classic. For the younger? No way — only the older will appreciate it properly! My grandchildren wouldn’t have the foggiest.

Beautiful gallery, Mike. I love the white house with the Victorian-styled upper stories. The phone booth and its sign…awesome!
